Ken
Santor of Reno, Nevada served in the Marine Corps from February 1948 to February
1952. He joined Baker Company, Sixth Marines. He was selected as one of only 100
Marines to be assigned to the submarine, "Perch" which was stationed
at the Coronado Amphibious Base. After the Korean war, he married the girl next
door and returned to school. When his wife unexÂpectedly passed away, he entered
political life and broke every record in money invested on behalf of the State.
When the Northern Nevada chapter of the MOPH was formed, he was elected Chapter
Commander. After serving three years, he was then elected to Department of
Nevada Commander. He continually strives to work for a sense of pride in an entire
organization.
