Welcoming
Home Our Troops and Taking Care of Veterans since April 2004, my wife Tanya, other Patriots, Ladies, and I have
welcomed home over 7,500 combat wounded in action (WIA) troops, and
over 15,500 non-battle injury (nbi) patients, for a total of over
23,000 troops, as of early 2008. Frequent hospital visits, welcoming
home our troops, and taking care of our veterans and their families
continues to this day.
For over four years, monthly reports on this program have been sent
to our MOPH leadership and other Patriots.
Since
April 2004, provided over 1,500 free Welcome Home packets to
Patriots in over 25 states to help their Chapters and Departments
welcome home our returning troops.
Wrote, published, and updated a special Welcome Home flyer tailored
to the needs of ALL our returning troops, both wounded and non-battle
injury, with their advice and input. This Welcome Home flyer is FREE
for you to use with YOUR Chapter or Department phone and E-mail
contact information for your home area.
Over 3/4 of our wounded troops return home with their units, instead
of being medically evacuated. We need strong Command Emphasis to help
welcome home these troops in their home states.
Priorities
for 2007-2008-Expand and improve our service and assistance to our returning troops,
veterans, and their families.
Leadership by example and work.
Devise a system to LISTEN and learn from the wisdom of fellow Patriots
to improve the operations of our Order.
Help our Service Officers in areas of large veteran population centers. |
