MOPH's First Responder Program

The purpose of the First Responder Program is to honor Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters who are killed or wounded in the line of duty. It is administered by the National Public Safety Officer who is working with Department Commanders to expand the program throughout the nation.
Department Commanders appoint Department First Responder Coordinators to establish and maintain Department-wide programs, involving assigned Chapters, to honor these heroic members of the community. In turn, Chapter Commanders appoint Chapter First Responder Coordinators to work with their Department counterparts and the National Public Safety Officer.
Public Safety Officers KILLED or WOUNDED in the line of duty are recognized with MOPH Memorial Plaques, produced by Personalized Just For You, LLC, which can be ordered by clicking here.
Additional information may be obtained from the National Public Safety Officer. Help us honor these individuals for their service and sacrifice for the betterment of society.
