Patrick Little
joined MOPH in 1992 and is a life member and Finance Officer of Chapter
9377 in Delaware. Prior to his selection as a National Officer, he was Delaware
Department Commander.
Patriot Little served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, with a tour of
duty with the 1st Air Cavalry Division in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart,
the Bronze Star with Valor and Army Commendation with Valor for Heroism in ground
combat, and a Bronze Star for meritorious service.
Pat has more than 22 years of business development, sales, marketing, and major
account management with the DuPont Company, spending the last 10 years starting
up new businesses. Two of the most notable new businesses for DuPont were a joint
venture with N.V. Phillip’s Gloeilampenfabrieken, which manufactured the first CD
ROMs in the U.S., and developing new markets for thin film Polyester as a substrate
for Dye Sublimation film.
Upon leaving DuPont, Patriot Little formed his own company that specialized in the
start up of United States subsidiaries for foreign companies. Companies from Germany
and Japan have successfully started
operations in the U.S. as a result of his consultative
support. Pat assisted in the start up of yet2.com, an Internet company that is the
global leader in the marketing of Intellectual Property. Pat is also past President
of Union Optical Company USA.
He is past Finance Chairman, Treasurer of Goodwill Industries of Delaware and Delaware
County. He has also served on various boards at the request of the Governor of Delaware.
In another military related role, he is President of the 30th Field Artillery Regiment
Association.
Patriot Little’s formal education includes a BS in Economics from Pennsylvania Military
College, MBA Courses at University of Pennsylvania, Wharton, and a Advanced Management
Certificate from Columbia.
