  Cy Kammeier, a retired Marine
Captain, is past editor of Purple Heart Magazine, the official publication of
the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He still supports this effort as Editor Emeritis. Cy has been involved with the magazine since
1997 when he was appointed as National Editor by National Commander Louis C. Tebbe.
During Cy’s tenure the magazine grew from a 28-page predominantly black and
white publication to a 44-page full color publication and a bi-monthly printing
from 28,000 to over 62,000 issues.
