Bowman joined MOPH in 1998 and is a Life member of Chapter 578, Indianapolis,
Indiana. He’s held various offices at Chapter, Department, Region and National levels,
including past Region Commander, past Department Commander, Region Chief of Staff, and National VAVS Deputy
Representative and National VAVS Certifying Official.
 Patriot Bowman continues as National Inspector as well as a Department Adjutant and Service Officer. .
. . . .Both his undergraduate and Master of Business Administration degrees are
from the University of Tampa. . . . . . He is a retired Army Colonel, having completed
32 years of Active and Reserve Service. Patriot Bowman had many combat and staff
assignments during his career as Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Battalion Commander
and Group (BDE) Commander. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff School,
ALEDC, the National Security Course at the National War College and The Army War
College. He’s also a certified Army Logistician. . . . . . He is a member of the
Millersville F & AM Lodge and the H. E. Lackey Commandery. In addition to MOPH,
he’s also a Life member of AMVETS, DAV, VFW, Military Order of the Cootie, and the
VVA. Dave is self employed.
