Kenneth K. Lee
joined Illinois Army
National Guard 1986 as medic in 131 st Infantry. He was commissioned in 1988 with
Wisconsin Army
National Guard . He was called to active duty in November 2003 to Baghdad, Iraq
as the commander of Company B, 118 th Medical BN. Lee was injured in suicide car
bomb on Sep 12, 2005 and MEDEVAC to Lahnstuhl Germany to Walter Reed and eventually
to VA. He is currently the Chief of Spinal Cord Injury Division at Zablocki
VAMC, Milwaukee WI and Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
His awards include: Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal
(2), Army Achievement Medal.
